An assortment of contemporary and novelty furniture including a Crayola coat rack and acrylic tables. The collection comprises a folding step stool, two nests of acrylic side tables, a dark wood and glass side table, and a pair of low stools. The folding step stool is constructed from light-toned hardwood in an A-frame design featuring two rectangular steps and a central horizontal carry rail, assembled with visible metal bolts and wing nuts. The two nests of side tables, one comprising three units and the other two, are made from clear bent acrylic with curved waterfall tops and U-shaped bases; one table bears a small white adhesive label marked G198. The side table features a dark-stained hardwood frame with a prominent straight grain and an inset square clear glass top, supported by four square-section legs and a lower solid wood shelf. A pair of matching low stools are constructed from light-toned wood with square tops and straight block legs, with one stool bearing a small white label reading G19757. The novelty children’s coat rack is shaped as a large blue crayon with the word Crayola printed vertically in black script near the base. It features eight white pegs with multi-coloured spherical knobs in green, orange, blue, and yellow, standing on a cross-shaped base.
Condition report:
The wooden step stool shows surface scuffs, scratches, and minor staining consistent with regular use (photo 1). The nests of acrylic tables exhibit moderate scratching, scuffing, and areas of cloudiness across the surfaces (photo 6). The dark wood and glass side table is in good condition with minor dust on the glass and light wear to the wooden finish (photo 8). The pair of low stools show minor edge wear and surface scuffs (photo 4). The Crayola coat rack exhibits significant paint loss, chipping, and scuffing to the pegs, central post, and base (photo 9).
