A collection of costume jewellery including a lady’s wristwatch and various necklaces, bracelets and decorative items. The group features a Pierre Cardin quartz wristwatch with a rose gold-tone case and a crystal-set bezel. The name pierre cardin printed in lower case and QUARTZ in capitals; it is fitted with a brown textured leather/cuir strap. The assortment includes several strands of faux pearls in cream and pink lustres, one of which is presented in a red hinged case. The collection also comprises necklaces of faceted black glass or resin beads, a strand of translucent red barrel-shaped beads, and turquoise-coloured composite beads. Additional items include an iridescent teal bar-bead statement necklace, a necklace of large twisted bronze-tone beads with black faceted spacers, a gold-tone mesh chain, and a multi-strand blue crystal bead necklace. A small circular blue decorative trinket box with a gold-tone star motif is also present. The pieces are constructed from base metals with gold and silver-tone plating.
Condition report:
The collection shows general surface wear consistent with age and use. The wristwatch appears in good cosmetic condition with no visible scratches to the crystal. Several necklaces are tangled, and there is minor tarnishing to some base metal clasps and components. No significant losses or damage to the beads or stones are visible in the photographs.
