A collection of vintage toys and airline memorabilia including a Victory Industries electric model boat. The model is housed in its original illustrated cardboard box, which is printed with the text VOSPER in red and R.A.F. above it, alongside a black banner reading CRASH and stylized script for Electric Tender. A circular logo containing the letter V and the word MODELS is present on the lid, while the lower side edge carries the printed mark ANOTHER PRODUCT OF VICTORY INDUSTRIES (SURREY) LTD. GUILDFORD ENGLAND. The lot also includes a model commercial airliner with a silver-coloured fuselage marked with the lowercase text virgin atlantic. This aircraft is contained within a rectangular metal tin featuring a red vacuum-formed plastic insert. The group further comprises a fashion doll in a cardboard box marked Britannia and Air Stewardess, resting upon a yellow cardboard box bearing a circular logo with two stylised faces above the word SURPRISE and a G G device. This lot comprises the boxed toys and aircraft model only; the wooden shelving, saleroom lot tags, and handwritten slips visible in the photographs are not included.
Condition report:
The illustrated box for the Vosper boat exhibits significant shelf wear, including edge rubbing, creasing, and a notable tear at one corner of the lid (photo 1). The metal tin for the airliner shows heavy surface oxidation and rust along the edges of the lid and the base (photo 4), although the aircraft model itself appears intact within the insert. The boxes for the Britannia doll and the surprise item show minor shelf wear and light creasing to the corners but remain generally in good condition (photo 5).
