A collection of four framed artworks comprising various subjects and media including works by Sam Toft and Paul Ackerman. The lot includes a large commercial offset lithograph print by Sam Toft, which bears a printed inscription to the margin reading SAM TOFT ERNEST, DORIS, HORACE AND STRIPES. The artwork portrays a stylised figure in an ochre coat walking a dog, a goose, and a cat. Also included is a pen and wash demo sketch of a bear cub, signed P Ackerman in the upper left, with an adhesive label to the reverse reading Demo Sketch Pen & Wash Paul Ackerman.

The group further contains a framed study of a lion family, signed Judy Rossouw within the image, and a vibrant crayon or pastel illustration of roosters, signed and dated JStevens 93 © Ptg to the upper left. All pieces are mounted and set within a variety of wooden and white-painted frames. The frames are backed with brown paper tape and fibreboard, featuring various hanging wires and brackets.

Condition report:

The collection is in generally good condition. There is minor toning visible to the white paper border of the Sam Toft print (photo 1). The wooden and painted frames show some light surface scuffing and handling wear consistent with age, particularly visible on the reverse and edges (photo 3 and photo 10). No significant foxing, damp staining, or tears are visible to the artworks themselves (photo 1, photo 5, and photo 8).
