A Spear & Jackson 18V plastic and metal cordless grass trimmer with battery and charger. This lot comprises the grass trimmer unit, a single battery pack, and a compatible mains charger. The trimmer is constructed from dark grey and black plastic with red adjustment controls and features a telescoping metal shaft with an adjustable auxiliary handle. A printed adhesive technical label located on the side of the motor housing reads SPEAR & JACKSON Cordless Grass Trimmer and specifies an operating voltage of 18V, a no-load speed of n0: 8000/min, and a cutting width of 25cm. The detachable battery pack is marked 18V LITHIUM-ION. The accompanying black plastic charger includes a power lead with an attached white adhesive safety testing label reading TEST DATE: SEPT 2026 and APPLIANCE ID: 566227. CE and UKCA compliance marks are present on the primary motor housing label.
Condition report:
A significant build-up of dried grass and soil residue is present on the safety guard and cutting head assembly (photo 1). The red trimming line has been worn short and is frayed at the end (photo 1). There are minor surface scuffs and scratches visible on the plastic motor housing and handle assembly (photo 2 and photo 3). The manufacturer\'s identification and specification label is intact and remains clearly legible (photo 5).
