A set of six Queen Elizabeth II and British history commemorative medals and coins. This lot comprises five copper-based medals featuring silver or gold plating, and one legal tender Gibraltar One Crown coin dated 2015. The items are decorated using specialist techniques including pad-printed colour, spot-plating, and inset crystal or gemstone accents. The subjects depicted include an HMS Victory strike commemorating the 1765 launch, a Diamond Jubilee strike, a St. George and the Dragon strike with a central blue stone, a St. Edward’s Crown strike with a red jewel, and a 90th birthday commemorative for Queen Elizabeth II featuring a crystal insert. Each medal is housed in a clear protective plastic capsule.

The collection is accompanied by six individually numbered Certificates of Authenticity bearing the following serial numbers: 02039, 03882, 03328, 04609, 06488, and B 03244. According to the provided documentation, the medals have a weight of 32g and a diameter of 40mm, with one certificate specifying a finish of 24 carat gold (Doré à l’or 24 carats). The Gibraltar One Crown coin is documented with a weight of 28.28g and a diameter of 38.60mm. The items are presented in a black velvet-lined presentation box with a white lid featuring a circle of twelve blue stars. No maker’s name is legibly printed on the items or documentation, although each certificate carries a blue heraldic crest featuring a shield with two lions.

Condition report:

The medals and coin appear in uncirculated proof condition, with no visible marks or toning, and remain protected within clear plastic capsules (photo 1). The paper certificates are intact and legible, showing only light age-related yellowing (photo 3). The presentation case is structurally sound but displays some surface wear and handwritten pencil or ink notations, including the word \'Empty\', to the upper right corner of the lid (photo 2). The velvet interior is clean and free from damage.
