Sold for: £24
A collection of eighteen vintage and modern style plastic Star Wars action figures including Kenner examples. This lot comprises figures from three distinct eras: original vintage releases from the late 1970s to mid-1980s, Power of the Force 2 figures from the mid-1990s, and a modern era Clone Trooper. The group features major characters including Luke Skywalker in Jedi robes, Han Solo in Hoth gear, and Princess Leia in Boushh disguise. Also included are various alien species such as Greedo, Bib Fortuna, Ree-Yees, and several skiff guards. The figures are constructed from moulded plastic with standard swivel articulation, though the modern Clone Trooper features more complex jointing. One figure, identified as Chewbacca, is marked to the underside of the left foot with an impressed KENNER CHINA mark and to the right foot with a 1995 LFL copyright mark. Other figures carry impressed marks to the soles of the feet that are present but not clearly legible as names or manufacturers. This lot includes one bowcaster and one blaster pistol; all other accessories, helmets, and soft goods are missing.
Condition report:
The collection is in play-worn condition. There is visible paint loss to the extremities and faces of many figures, notably on Han Solo and the Rebel Commando (photo 1). Significant yellowing and discolouration are present on the white plastic surfaces of the Stormtrooper and Biker Scout (photos 6 and 7). Most figures are missing their original weaponry and removable accessories, including Bib Fortuna\'s cloth cloak and Princess Leia\'s helmet (photo 1).
