A collection of cut crystal glassware including two decanters and a selection of matching stemware. The suite is constructed from clear lead crystal and features traditional hand-cut decoration. The pattern comprises a central band of diamond and criss-cross cuts set below vertical bladed flutes. The group includes a broad-based ship’s decanter and a square-bodied spirit decanter, both finished with multi-faceted globular stoppers. The stemware consists of wine or water goblets and smaller sherry or liqueur glasses, all featuring faceted stems and circular star-cut bases. There are no visible maker’s marks, etched signatures, or manufacturer’s labels on any of the pieces.
Condition report:
The glassware appears to be in excellent condition with high crystal clarity and no visible cloudiness. The hand-cut patterns are sharp and well-defined. There are no obvious chips, cracks, or nicks visible to the rims or bases of either decanter (photo 1, 2) or the stemware (photo 1, 2). The stoppers appear undamaged and fit their respective decanters correctly.
