A collection of various elephant and Ganesha figurines featuring a range of materials and cultural styles. The assortment includes several glazed ceramic style elephants in traditional blue and white floral patterns with gold tone detailing, one of which is modelled in the form of a miniature garden seat. The lot contains carved stone style figures including a pale green example, possibly jadeite or soapstone, and a white veined figure in a marble style stone. Also present are three Ganesha figurines finished in orange, white and terracotta tones. Further items include a large reddish-brown wood style carved elephant head, a smaller figure with pierced openwork decoration, and a composite resin elephant with a textured and colourful saddle cloth. A white adhesive label on the green stone style figurine bears the handwritten digits 7020; no other maker’s marks, signatures or factory stamps are legible on any of the items. The lot also includes two carved smoking pipes, one with an elephant head bowl and the other in a dark horn style material, alongside two brass tone elephant motifs mounted on a leather backing. This lot comprises the figurines and pipes only; the glass shelving and cabinet shown in the images are not included.
