A collection of decorative art and home decor items comprising hand-painted slate plaques, relief ceramic plaques, an agate mirror, and an art print. The lot features three natural slate plaques with irregular edges, hand-painted with portraits of a beagle puppy, a rough collie, and a tiger; the tiger portrait bears a painted signature in the lower right reading SARAH P. Included is an arched ceramic plaque with relief daisies on a textured ground, featuring an impressed mark in a rectangular cartouche reading PENGELLY. A square high-relief ceramic plaque depicts a rooster in mottled green and yellow glazes, and a further small rectangular plaque shows a relief landscape with trees. The lot also contains a polished natural agate slice with an inset scalloped mirror, a square wooden-framed tile with a transfer-printed yellow flower design, possibly a primrose, and a mounted art print of a street scene signed in pencil below the image Patrick King. This lot comprises the decorative items only; the shelving and storage materials shown in the images are not included.

Condition report:

The collection is in generally good condition. The ceramic plaque featuring the rooster shows fine surface crazing across the glazed surface (photo 3). The natural agate slice displays internal fissures and banding inherent to the stone (photo 1). Minor surface scuffs are visible to the wooden frame of the primrose style tile (photo 4). The slate plaques have naturally irregular, rough-hewn edges and show minor surface dust. The art print and its mount appear in clean condition with no evidence of foxing or staining.
