A collection of glass, metal, and ceramic animal and decorative figurines in various styles and materials. The assortment predominantly features miniature lampwork glass animals including several giraffes in green and yellow, a variety of dogs such as a clear poodle and a dark brown dachshund, and multiple birds such as penguins, peacocks, and a long-necked blue swan. The glass items are crafted using hand-blown techniques, often incorporating internal colour swirls and stylised applied details for eyes and appendages. Also included are three silver-toned metal figures comprising a clown with a faceted crystal ball, a bulldog, and a fox beside a basket. Ceramic examples include a blue and white patterned owl and a turtle. Three decorative glass candies and a pink glass paperweight complete the group. No maker’s marks, signatures, or backstamps are visible on any of the items in the collection. This lot comprises the figurines only; the wooden shelving units shown in the images are not included.
Condition report:
The figurines appear to be in good overall condition with no significant losses visible to the delicate glass extremities, such as the giraffe necks (photos 1 and 5) or the avian tails (photos 1 and 3). The silver-toned metal figurines show light surface oxidation consistent with age (photo 3). No chips or repairs were observed in the overview photographs.
