Sold for: £34
A pair of two modern style bedside chests of drawers featuring a contemporary country aesthetic. Each chest is constructed with a thick, natural oak top featuring framed breadboard-end construction. The bases are finished in a neutral cream paint and stand on four thick, blocky legs integrated into the side panels. Each unit contains three flush-front drawers fitted with a single dark-patinated metal knob in a square pyramid design. The drawer boxes are assembled with modern joints and the interiors are finished in a painted wood composite. No manufacturer’s or retailer’s marks, labels, or backstamps are visible on these units.
Condition report:
These items show signs of moderate use consistent with their age. The oak tops exhibit significant surface wear, including two distinct bleached or faded circular spots on the centre panel of one chest (photo 4) and general finish degradation across both surfaces (photo 5). The painted bases appear to be in good condition overall, with minor scuffs and marks visible on the leg bases and side panels (photo 7). The drawer interiors show light use but remain structurally sound (photo 6).
