A collection of vintage metalware and tobacco accessories including a JOB cigarette rolling box and trade ephemera. The lot includes a rectangular silver-toned automatic cigarette rolling box featuring an embossed central diamond shape flanked by the letters J and B on the lid, identifying it as the JOB brand. The interior of the box retains a fabric rolling apron. A polished white metal cigarette case is decorated with a geometric engine-turned design and contains an internal yellow elastic retaining strap. The brassware comprises a cylindrical trench-style lighter with an external flint striker wheel and lanyard ring, alongside a two-part cylindrical brass tool or case with a pocket clip and an internal thin rod. Accompanied by a paper instruction and advertising leaflet for The Morgan-Lee Trimmer, which bears the printed text The sole distributing rights of John R. Lee and Co. Ltd. and a price of 21/- each.


Condition report:

The instruction leaflet shows significant creasing from folding, light foxing, and several small tears along the edges and fold lines (photo 1). The silver-toned rolling box has surface wear, minor pitting, and light tarnishing (photo 3). The cigarette case exhibits interior tarnishing (photo 4). The brass trench lighter shows heavy oxidation and signs of use (photo 2 and 5), and the cylindrical brass tool has surface patination and minor dings (photo 2 and 5).
