A collection of world postage stamps, commemorative ephemera and a George Belcher volume. The philatelic material is housed within a green translucent plastic folder containing multiple black double-sided stock sheets. The collection includes a significant section of mid-20th-century Romanian issues, such as the 1960 and 1964 Olympic commemorative sets marked POSTA ROMANA and R.P. ROMINA, alongside floral and art-themed examples. The United States selection comprises mid-century commemoratives including the 3-cent Atoms for Peace, NATO, and Labor Day issues, as well as the 4-cent Scouts of America and various Special Delivery stamps. The Australian stamps feature both decimal and pre-decimal issues with a strong focus on native wildlife, including the Wombat, Kangaroo, and Koala motifs. Smaller quantities from Canada, Poland, and Cyprus are also present. The hardbound volume is titled POTTED CHAR AND OTHER DELICACIES by GEORGE BELCHER A.R.A., published by METHUEN & CO. LTD. LONDON, featuring a light blue cloth cover.

Condition report:

The world postage stamps are a mixture of mint and postally used examples and appear to be in generally good condition as viewed through the protective stock sheets (photos 2, 4, 5, and 6). The George Belcher volume shows significant age-related wear, including heavy foxing, staining, and surface abrasions to the light blue cover, with additional wear visible at the corners and spine edges (photo 3).
