A collection of English ceramic tableware and decorative items including Mason’s and Johnson Bros examples. The lot includes a Mason’s ironstone jug and matching octagonal plate in the Mandarin pattern, featuring orientalist floral and bird transfer-printed decoration with hand-painted polychrome enamels. The jug is designed with an octagonal body and an ornate zoomorphic handle finished in cobalt blue with gilded highlights. The base of the jug bears a brown printed mark consisting of a crown above a banner inscribed PATENT IRONSTONE CHINA, above the words ENGLAND and the pattern name Mandarin, alongside a green hand-painted M, a stamped O, and a small Pt. Also included is an assortment of Johnson Bros earthenware in the Fresh Fruit pattern, characterised by octagonal shapes and fruit clusters with dark green rims. This group comprises a teapot, teacups, saucers, and various bowls. The bowls bear a green printed mark: JOHNSON BROS SINCE 1883 (R) DISHWASHER, FREEZER AND MICROWAVE SAFE MADE IN ENGLAND with additional numbers 31 and 27 present. The lot is completed by a set of twelve decorative spoons in a stepped wooden wall-mount display rack. The spoons feature porcelain handles with floral sprays and gold-tone metal bowls embossed with a fleur-de-lis motif.

The items appear to be in good overall condition. The Mason\'s ironstone pieces show no visible chips or repairs (photo 1, photo 3). The Johnson Bros service, including the teapot, cups, and bowls, maintains clear transfer prints and appears free from significant damage (photo 6, photo 8). The set of twelve spoons is complete and intact, while the wooden display rack shows minor shelf wear and light surface scuffs to the finish (photo 2).
