A collection of elephant figurines and decorative objects including examples by Tuskers. This lot comprises figures crafted from glazed ceramic, bisque porcelain, and cast resin, featuring a range of styles from naturalistic to anthropomorphic. The assortment includes a functional ceramic elephant shaped planter alongside purely decorative models. A large resin group is marked to the base with a printed label reading Tuskers, 90986, Goin Bananas, and Exclusive Club Year Piece for 2003. Another resin elephant figurine is mounted on a circular dark wood effect base featuring a brass tone nameplate reading Tuskers. Other ceramic pieces are unmarked or carry illegible markings consistent with mass produced decorative giftware.
Condition report:
The collection is in mixed condition with several visible defects. The large brown resin elephant has a broken trunk tip and both tusks are broken and partially missing (photo 2 and 9). The Tuskers Goin Bananas resin group shows a break to the tip of one elephant trunk (photo 6). The associated palm tree on this group exhibits signs of wear and minor losses to the fronds (photo 6). General surface wear, dust, and minor chips are present across various smaller ceramic items, and crazing is visible on the glazes of several pieces.
