This lot comprises a pair of two alpine downhill skis manufactured by Völkl in Germany. The P50 Motion Energy models are constructed with titanium reinforcement, indicated by the printed text POWERED BY TITANIUM on the top sheets. Finished in a cream and black colour scheme, the skis utilise 3D Sidecut Technology and each measures 178 cm in length. The top sheets are marked with the brand name VÖLKL alongside P50 MOTION ENERGY, 3D SIDECUT TECHNOLOGY, 178, and the number 101000. The skis are fitted with an integrated Marker Motion 1400 binding system featuring Biometric advanced binding technology. The bindings include a DIN setting scale ranging from 5 to 14 and an adjustable rail for boot sole lengths ranging from 260mm to 325mm. The bindings are marked MARKER, Motion 1400, and Biometric. This lot comprises the skis and integrated bindings only; the shelving and storage crates shown in the background are not included.
Condition report:
The skis show signs of heavy use consistent with age. Significant yellowing and UV discoloration are visible across the top sheets (photo 1). Numerous surface scuffs, scratches, and small chips are present along the edges of both skis (photo 2 and photo 7). The Marker bindings exhibit surface grime and wear to the plastic housings (photo 4 and photo 5). The condition of the bases and steel edges is not fully visible in the images provided. It is recommended that the bindings are inspected and tested by a certified technician before any attempted use.
