A collection of vintage writing equipment and costume jewellery including examples by Parker and Rotring. The lot features a set of three black Rotring technical drawing pens with distinctive red and yellow banding, housed in a fitted plastic presentation case. Writing supplies include eight blister packs of Parker Royal Blue Washable ink cartridges, an empty white and blue Parker retail carton, and a boxed bottle of Parker Quink Solv-X in a red and white cardboard sleeve. Also included are a gold-toned textured ballpoint pen and a blue fountain pen with a silver band reading V-PEN. Industrial ephemera is represented by a black card storage box with a distressed paper label reading LUCIFER Lubricated Asbestos Carbon Packing supplied by WITTY & WYATT, LIMITED, LONDON, E.I, ENGLAND. The jewellery selection comprises a pair of large circular rhinestone cluster earrings with plastic disc backings, a strand of peach-toned faux pearls with blue bead accents, two large faceted purple clips, and various gold-toned costume earrings. Completing the group is a miniature bottle of Cerruti 1881 perfume, a small white cherub figurine holding a cross, and a clear plastic circular drawing template.
Condition report:
The paper label on the black Lucifer box shows significant tearing and surface loss (Photo 7). Several Parker ink cartridge blister packs exhibit crushing and shelf wear, and one white retail carton is torn and flattened (Photo 4). The clear plastic lid of the Rotring pen case is moderately scratched (Photo 8). Minor surface tarnishing and wear are visible across the costume jewellery components.
