A collection of costume and vintage jewellery housed within a two-tier brown faux-leather style jewellery case featuring an orange velvet-lined interior. The assortment comprises a wide variety of pieces including brooches, hoop and stud earrings, charms, and necklaces in both gold-tone and silver-tone base metals. Notable items include a large circular openwork brooch with a swirling beaded pattern, a multi-coloured rhinestone pavé bird brooch, and a silver-tone handbag hook set with a large faceted light-blue glass centrepiece. The lot further contains several cabochon brooches in mother-of-pearl, amber-coloured resin, and marbled enamel styles. Religious items include a silver-tone Miraculous Medal with the Latin inscription O MARIA SINE LABE CONCEPTA ORA PRO NOBIS QUI AD TE CONFUGIMUS and a red enameled Jerusalem cross pendant. A pair of stud earrings is presented on a black retail card printed UNIVERSAL STUDIOS with SURGICAL STEEL POSTS, depicting the character E.T. The construction techniques observed include cast metal, wire-wrapping, and adhesive settings for glass and faux pearl elements.

Condition report:

The items generally exhibit surface wear, light scratches, and tarnishing consistent with age and use (photos 1-3). The faux-leather style case shows minor scuffing to the edges (photo 1). Several earrings are presented as single units rather than matching pairs (photos 9, 11). All stone and enamel settings appear largely intact across the group where visible. No precious metal hallmarks were identified during inspection.
