Condition report:
The collection shows signs of handling and previous use throughout. Several paper pads and sketchbooks exhibit creasing, scuffing, and minor staining to the covers, notably the WHSmith sketch pad which has blue markings on the front (photo 3). The sheet counts in the pads appear diminished, indicating varying levels of usage. The instructional books show light wear to the edges and corners of the covers (photo 2 and 5). The equipment, including the palettes and brushes, shows evidence of use with some dried paint residues and staining visible to the plastic components (photo 7). The cardboard storage box shows typical wear from transit and storage.
