This lot comprises an Anatolian Kalender Carpets Ltd hand knotted wool rug. The rug is constructed with a wool pile hand-knotted onto a white cotton foundation. It features a dusty rose field decorated with an all-over repeating pattern of stylised floral and foliate motifs in shades of navy blue, cream, light blue, and green. This central field is enclosed by a wide navy blue primary border containing floral rosettes and serrated leaf motifs, which is further framed by multiple minor geometric and floral guard borders in cream, red, and blue. A paper label stapled to the reverse is printed with the text ‘Kalender Carpets Ltd.’ and ‘www.kalendercarpet.com’. The label also includes handwritten and printed sections stating ‘Origine : ANADOL HALI’, ‘ELBEYLI MANISA’, ‘Number: 280’, and ‘HAND MADE’.

Condition report:
The rug is in generally good condition, showing signs of normal use consistent with age. The wool pile appears even across the surface with no obvious areas of heavy wear. The white cotton fringe is present at both ends but shows some minor unevenness and fraying (photo 3). No significant stains, holes, or visible repairs are evident in the provided photographs.
