This lot comprises three items including two Victorian style brass oil lamps and a hexagonal leaded glass shade. The first lamp is a duplex burner model constructed from brass with a stepped circular base and a pedestal supporting a bulbous reservoir. It features two thumbwheel adjusters and is fitted with a tall, straight-sided glass chimney. The chimney bears an etched circular mark towards the top containing the text HINKS above a central anchor device and MADE IN ENGLAND below. The second lamp is a single-burner brass model with a flared circular base and reservoir, fitted with a wide slotted gallery ring designed to support a globe and a bulbous glass chimney. The leaded glass shade is of hexagonal form in a Tiffany style, featuring blue six-petaled flowers set against a cream and yellow background with green and burgundy accents. The shade is constructed with lead cames and copper foil, featuring a circular metal collar at the top for fitting to a lamp gallery.

Condition report:

The brass components show moderate surface tarnish, oxidation, and minor surface scratches throughout (photos 1, 2, 3 and 4). Dried white polish residue is visible in the recessed areas of the brasswork on both lamps (photos 1 and 2). The glass chimneys appear free of significant chips or cracks (photo 2). The leaded glass shade appears structurally sound with no visible cracks or loose panes (photos 5 and 6). One burner contains a charred wick remnant (photo 4).
