Sold for: £3
A mixed lot of two contemporary items comprising a bamboo laundry hamper and an upholstered stool. The laundry hamper is of rectangular form with rounded corners, constructed from vertical bamboo slats over a wooden frame. It features a hinged lid and contains a removable white fabric liner that attaches to the front exterior via two integrated ties. The accompanying stool features a circular seat upholstered in light grey fabric, supported by four grey powder-coated metal legs fitted with black protective feet. No maker’s marks, labels, or stickers are visible on either item.
Condition report:
The laundry hamper shows significant water staining and large tide marks to the underside of the lid. The bamboo exterior exhibits light surface wear throughout. The white fabric liner shows signs of regular use with minor fraying where it meets the hinges. The upholstered stool appears to be in generally good condition with no visible faults to the fabric or the metal legs.
