A collection of enamelled cast iron and stoneware cookware including examples by Le Creuset. The assortment comprises a graduated set of four saucepans, two stoneware baking dishes, an oval cocotte, and a folding accessory. The set of four enamelled cast iron saucepans features pour spouts and turned wooden handles with metal hanging loops, finished in a graduated yellow and orange exterior glaze with cream interiors. The interiors of the saucepan lids are embossed LE CREUSET FRANCE with size numbers 20, 18, 16, and 14, and the bases carry corresponding impressed numerals. The two stoneware baking dishes feature an orange gradient finish and cream interiors; the base of the larger dish is marked 08.36 LE CREUSET and the smaller is marked 11-07 LE CREUSET 0.9L/1QT. A red gradient oval enamelled cast iron cocotte with a matching lid and a folding orange accessory embossed LE CREUSET complete the lot.


Condition report:

The collection is in a well-used condition. The enamelled cast iron saucepans show significant surface rust and heavy carbon buildup to the bases (photo 6). The cream enamel interiors exhibit staining, scratching, and wear consistent with frequent use (photo 5). The wooden handles appear dry and show age-related wear, and the metal loops show signs of corrosion (photo 2). The stoneware dishes are in generally good condition with minor surface dirt and light shelf wear to the bases (photo 8). The red oval cocotte shows minor interior staining and light surface scuffing to the exterior (photo 11, 12). The folding accessory shows light surface marks from use (photo 10).
