An aluminium five tread platform step ladder featuring a high, integrated guard rail. The ladder is constructed from aluminium with four ribbed steps leading to a larger top platform with a hinged locking mechanism. The side rail carries a red and white adhesive safety sticker bearing the text MAXIMUM SAFE WORKING LOAD, 95kg 15 Stone, BS2037 : 1994 CLASS 3 DOMESTIC, and DUTY RATING 95kg (15 STONE). The sticker also displays various safety pictograms and operational guidelines. The top of the frame is finished with a curved guard rail for user support.
Condition report:
The ladder is in a used, functional condition showing signs of heavy utility use. There are extensive white, green, and red paint splashes across the platform, treads, and frame (photos 1, 2, and 4). Surface wear, scratches, and minor oxidation are visible on the metal components throughout (photo 2). The safety label is partially torn and shows significant wear (photo 1). The feet covers show signs of wear consistent with ground contact (photo 2).
