A set of Eight contemporary high back dining side chairs constructed with hardwood frames. Each chair is fully upholstered in a black faux leather material, featuring a padded seat and a tall, slightly curved backrest. The base of the upholstery on the seat frame is finished with a line of decorative brass tone nailhead trim. The chairs are supported by square tapered front legs and slightly splayed rear legs, all finished in a medium reddish-brown stain showing a straight wood grain. The undersides are finished with a coarse tan hessian dust cover. No manufacturer marks, brand labels, or signatures are visible on the frames or the undersides of the chairs.
Condition report:
The set shows visible surface wear consistent with use. The black upholstery exhibits multiple horizontal creases, light scuffs, and indentation marks across the seat pads and backrests, as seen in the overview image (photo 1) and detail view (photo 2). The wooden legs show minor scuffing and small nicks to the finish, particularly around the feet (photo 3). The hessian dust covers on the underside appear intact but show typical fraying at the staple lines (photo 3).
