A Tristan da Cunha gold one tenth sovereign, issued in 2026. The obverse of the coin features the profile portrait of King Charles III facing left, with the circular inscription reading TRISTAN DA CUNHA · 1/10 SOVEREIGN · KING CHARLES III · 2026 ·. The reverse depicts dual profile portraits of Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth II, both crowned and facing each other, accompanied by the Latin inscription Victoria · D:G:Britt:Reg:F:D: · Elizabeth. The coin is housed in a clear protective plastic capsule within a black presentation box. The lid of the box is finished in a textured leatherette style and features the Hattons of London logo and crest printed in gold lettering. The lot is accompanied by a printed invoice from Hattons of London, Newcastle-under-Lyme, UK, dated 08 Sep 2026, which identifies the item as The Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth II Gold One Tenth Sovereign and lists the SKU as CNXC299.


Condition report:

The coin appears to be in uncirculated, proof-like condition with high luster and mirrored fields (photos 3 and 4). No visible signs of wear, toning, or handling are present on the surfaces of the coin. The protective plastic capsule is clear and intact. The black presentation box and gold-printed logo show no visible scuffing or damage (photo 1). The accompanying invoice is in good condition with a single vertical fold (photo 1).
