Sold for: £80
A three stone trilogy ring featuring a yellow metal shank and a white metal setting. The ring is set with a central round cut diamond, flanked by two slightly smaller diamonds of similar cut and colour. The stones are held within a white metal claw or prong mount designed to enhance their light performance. The interior of the yellow metal band bears several stamps. One mark is readable as 18K, indicating the ring is constructed from 18 carat gold. Further rectangular hallmarks are present on the inner shank as seen in the photographs, though the specific symbols for the assay office, date letter, and maker are not clearly legible at this resolution. The shank features a tapered design leading towards the elevated stone setting.
Condition report:
The ring is in good overall condition with signs of wear consistent with use. Light surface scratching and minor smoothing are visible to the yellow gold shank (photo 2 and 3). The white metal settings and claws appear secure and intact. The stones show some surface dullness and would benefit from a professional cleaning to restore their full brilliance (photo 1). No thinning of the band or significant distortions to the circular form are observed.
