A 18 carat yellow gold emerald and diamond cluster ring. The ring is constructed from yellow gold and features a central oval-faceted emerald gemstone, claw-set within a tiered border of ten round-cut colorless diamonds. The band is a polished yellow gold D-shape shank. The interior of the shank is struck with a series of British hallmarks including a crown, the gold purity mark ‘750’ denoting 18 carat gold, and further symbols for the office and date which are partially obscured. The ring weighs 3.61 grams.
Condition report:
The ring is in good overall condition with light surface scratching and minor abrasions to the gold shank consistent with age and wear. The central green gemstone shows typical internal inclusions and minor surface wear to the facet edges. All stones appear securely set and are free from significant chips or cracks.
