This lot comprises two pieces of gold jewellery, featuring an eighteen carat yellow gold chain and a pendant. The necklace is a Franco or wheat link chain, approximately 50cm in length, fitted with a lobster claw clasp. The jump ring is stamped ‘750’, indicating eighteen carat fineness, alongside an Italian provincial mark for Arezzo containing the manufacturer code ‘235 AR’. The accompanying yellow gold pendant is formed as a stylised initial ‘J’, measuring approximately 15mm in height. The pendant features a rectangular bale stamped DK. The chain weighs approximately 7.80g and the pendant weighs approximately 2.39g, giving a combined weight for the lot of 10.19g.
Condition report:
Both items appear to be in good overall condition. The chain shows minor surface wear and light scratching consistent with age and use; the clasp is in functional working order. The pendant exhibits minor surface abrasions and some light tarnishing to the recessed areas. No significant kinks or repairs are visible to the chain links.
