This lot comprises a ladies two tone Citizen Eco-Drive wristwatch, presented as a complete set with its original packaging and associated paperwork. The watch features a circular stainless steel case with a gold tone bezel, housing a white dial with gold tone stick indices and a date aperture at the 3 o’clock position. The dial is printed with the text CITIZEN, Eco-Drive, and WR 50, with the lower edge reading JAPAN MOV’T-E011-S072676-KA. The integrated two tone jubilee style bracelet is constructed from stainless steel with gold tone link accents and terminates in a folding clasp stamped CITIZEN. The case back features a centrally applied globe logo for Citizen Eco-Drive and is perimeter marked CITIZEN WATCH CO., W.R. 5 B A R, ST. STEEL, E011 – S024765, GN-4-S, and JAPAN MOV’T, alongside a partially legible serial number beginning 2N1. Accompanying the watch is a sales card voucher from Argos, Transit Way, Plymouth, dated 27/04/13, identifying the item as a 254/6782 Citizen bracelet watch. The set is completed by an original cylindrical inner presentation case, an outer cardboard box, a five-year guarantee and instruction booklet, a getting started guide, and five spare bracelet links.
Condition report:
The watch and bracelet show significant signs of wear and surface oxidation (photo 4). The case back displays heavy pitting and accumulated grime across the polished surface (photo 4). Visible thinning and brassing to the gold tone plating are evident on the crown and bracelet links (photo 2). The crystal exhibits several fine scratches and surface abrasions visible under close inspection (photo 2). The outer cardboard box shows moderate shelf wear, including scuffing and creasing to the edges (photo 10). The operational status of the Eco-Drive movement is currently untested.
