This lot comprises a vintage ladies’ mechanical wristwatch featuring a circular silver-tone dial signed ‘REGENCY’ and ’17 JEWELS’, with ‘SWISS’ printed at the six o’clock position. The dial is set with gold-tone baton hour markers and two hands, framed by a textured bezel. The timepiece is integrated with a decorative yellow metal bracelet composed of C-shaped links with beaded borders and a textured finish. The fold-over clasp is stamped with the maker’s mark ‘JAM’ and a series of British hallmarks including ‘375’ for 9 carat gold and the leopard’s head mark for the London Assay Office. The date letter is partially obscured but appears consistent with a late 1960s or early 1970s production. The total weight of the watch, including the movement and crystal, is 12.53 grams.
Condition report:
The watch case and bracelet show significant surface tarnish and oxidation, particularly within the recesses of the decorative links and around the clasp. The dial exhibits light spotting and age-related discolouration. The crystal has minor surface scratches but remains free of cracks. The mechanical movement has not been tested for timekeeping or functionality and may require professional servicing.
