A vintage Omega Seamaster Quartz wristwatch featuring a gold-plated case and a stainless steel caseback. The timepiece is designed with a champagne-toned dial displaying a vertical brushed finish, applied gold-tone baton hour markers, and a date aperture at the 3 o’clock position. The dial is printed with the Omega “Ω” symbol and reads “OMEGA”, “Seamaster”, “QUARTZ”, and “SWISS MADE”. The watch is fitted with a brown leather strap featuring a gold-tone buckle with an embossed “Ω” symbol; the interior of the strap is stamped “Ω OMEGA Swiss Made”. The exterior caseback is engraved with a commemorative inscription reading “TO P. S. W. FROM FINE TUBES LTD 20 YEARS SERVICE” surrounding the Seamaster Seahorse emblem, and bears the stamped number “1337”. This lot includes a yellow Omega outer box, a red velvet-lined inner presentation case, a “You and Your Omega” booklet, an “Omega Quartz Cal. 1337” instruction manual, and an “Omega International Guarantee” booklet. A handwritten sales receipt from a Plymouth jeweller is also present, though it records a different model and date.

Condition report:

The watch is in good vintage condition with light surface scratches and minor scuffing to the gold-plated case and crystal consistent with age and use (photo 4). The leather strap shows visible creasing and wear near the buckle holes (photo 5). The presentation boxes and associated paperwork exhibit signs of aging, including yellowing and foxing to the edges (photo 8). The caseback engraving remains clear and legible (photo 7). The movement is quartz-regulated; however, the working order is unknown and the watch may require a new battery.
