A collection of clocks, horological accessories, and optical goods. The lot includes a pewter style mantel clock featuring a rectangular frame and a white dial with Roman numerals and a bird emblem. Also included is a small brass cased quartz clock in a grey presentation case, with the lid interior bearing a white label printed H. SAMUEL. 28/34 New George Street, PLYMOUTH PL1 1RL. Three matching black plastic cased square travel alarm clocks are present; two feature luminous Arabic dials and one features a white dial with a centre seconds hand. The collection further contains a boxed digital alarm clock in blue card packaging printed CASIO CARD ALARM CC-100, BATTERY INCLUDED, and PILE COMPRISE. Additionally, the lot includes a set of two magnifiers in a box marked CE EMC with barcode 9003301017018, and a boxed navigation compass in blue packaging. The Casio clock and optical items remain in their original retail packaging.
Condition report:
The items are in varied condition as viewed in the provided image. The Casio clock box and magnifier packaging show visible shelf wear and crushing (photo 1). The pewter style clock frame exhibits minor surface oxidation (photo 1). The plastic cases of the three travel clocks show light scuffing and surface marks (photo 1). The H. Samuel presentation case shows minor wear to the exterior (photo 1). Working order is not tested; quartz units may require new batteries and mechanical movements may require servicing.
