A collection of elephant figurines and decorative objects fashioned from a variety of materials including wood, ceramic, metal, and composite. The group features a large matte black standing elephant with flared ears, and a dark-stained wooden figure with an upright trunk and a small bone or plastic tusk. The assortment also includes a stylised, elongated ceramic elephant with a pink and green glaze, and a small blue elephant decorated with intricate white and dark blue dot-work patterns. Two ceramic spheres with a crackle-glaze finish are included, each featuring a transfer-print motif of a caparisoned elephant. Further items include a small polychrome-painted metal elephant with a red saddlecloth, a parchment or hide-covered figure on a wire frame, and a dark cylindrical object with relief carving depicting a deity, possibly Ganesha. Several small turned wooden cylinders or handles are also present within the lot. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on any of the pieces.
