A group of three vintage wool blankets and travelling rugs. The stack comprises a cream woven wool blanket finished with blanket-stitch embroidery in tan thread along the edge, a fringed wool travelling rug woven in a red-ground Royal Stewart style tartan check with blue, green, and yellow detailing, and a fringed wool travelling rug in a dark navy blue, green, and black check. No manufacturer labels, tags, or identifying stamps are visible on any of the textiles. This lot comprises the folded textiles only.
Condition report:
All textiles appear intact with general light surface wear and creasing consistent with age and folding (photo 1). Fringes on the two tartan rugs are present with minor dishevelment (photo 1). No distinct moth holes, tears, or staining are discernible on the visible folded sections.
