This lot comprises a single contemporary chromogenic print depicting an ecclesiastical procession in an outdoor setting. The photograph captures a central high-ranking cleric of African descent, possibly Archbishop Desmond Tutu, seated in a green golf cart. He is dressed in red and gold vestments and a mitre. The vehicle is flanked by other members of the clergy wearing red dalmatics over white albs. A man in a light-coloured blazer stands beside the cart, and a crowd of onlookers, some utilizing cameras, is visible in the background against a line of mature trees. The print is mounted within a dark grey mat and housed in a simple black wooden frame with glazing. No signatures, edition numbers, or maker’s marks are visible on the front of the work.

Condition report:

The photograph appears to be in good condition with no visible signs of foxing, fading, or moisture damage to the print itself. The black wooden frame shows some minor scuffing and accumulated dust along the edges (photo 1). There are significant reflections on the glazing from the photography process, but no visible cracks or chips to the glass.
