A collection of vintage maritime, military, and utilitarian objects. The lot features two commemorative wooden items with brass labels: a turned wooden barrel reading FROM THE TIMBER OF H.M.S. CORNWALL LAUNCHED BOMBAY 1813 and a turned wooden base reading FROM THE TEAK OF H.M.S. IRON DUKE ADMIRAL JELLICOE’S FLAGSHIP AT JUTLAND. Military interest is represented by two cap badges, one with an ER cypher for the Royal Engineers and another for the Royal Marines. Also included are an embossed brass funnel with foliate decoration, a wooden cribbage board, a long wooden ruler marked VELOS, a pewter-toned tankard, and various wooden boxes and lids.
