This lot comprises a contemporary small domestic security safe, identified as an Omega Mini Vault. The unit is constructed from steel with a textured grey powder-coated finish. The front of the safe is fitted with a black and silver plate featuring a stylized Greek letter omega symbol and the wordmark ΩMEGA. The interior contains a paper instructional manual titled ΩMEGA MINI VAULT, which provides operating instructions stating, “Insert the key with the two notches pointing upwards. The key can only be removed and inserted in this position.” The manual also includes a technical support telephone number, 0115 9661199, indicating a UK origin for the Nottingham area. The safe is supplied with a set of two keys on a metal split ring; the keys are illustrated in the manual with the letters D, A, F. The rear of the safe features two pre-drilled mounting holes for wall or floor installation.
Condition report:
The safe is in functional condition and is shown in the open position. The exterior powder-coated finish shows minor surface scuffs and light scratches consistent with domestic use (photo 1). There is light oxidation and surface wear present on the accompanying set of keys and the split ring (photo 3). The interior instructional manual is present and legible, though it shows some creasing and remains adhered to the inner door (photo 2). No significant structural damage or heavy denting is visible.
