Sold for: £32
A traditional two seater garden bench constructed from hardwood with a dark reddish-brown stain finish. The design features a five-slat vertical backrest, a seven-slat seat, and flat, slightly downward-sloping armrests. The structural frame is assembled with visible screw fixings, and the wood appears to be a dense variety, possibly acacia or teak, suitable for outdoor utility. There are no visible maker’s marks, stamps, or labels present on the piece.
Condition report:
The bench shows signs of outdoor use and weathering across the surface. There is a significant loss of finish and surface abrasions on the top of the left armrest (photo 1). The seat slats show fading and wear to the stain, particularly toward the central area. Minor scuffing and finish loss are visible on the front legs near the ground level. Small areas of finish chipping are present on the backrest slats. The structural joints appear intact, although there is surface oxidation and dirt typical of outdoor storage.
