This lot comprises two utility items: a manual garden hose reel and a folding hand truck. The garden hose reel features a grey tubular metal frame supporting a green plastic spool, fitted with a length of green reinforced garden hose. The unit includes a green plastic winding handle and is equipped with orange and grey plastic quick-connect couplings. A white adhesive label is present on the metal frame, though the characters printed upon it are not legible. The folding hand truck is constructed from silver-tone tubular metal with black and yellow plastic components. It features a telescoping handle with a black grip and a folding metal toe plate. The two black plastic wheels are fitted with light-coloured solid tyres and are designed to fold flat against the frame for storage. No manufacturer’s branding or maker’s marks are visible on the hand truck.
Condition report:
Both items show signs of regular outdoor and utility use. The garden hose reel exhibits surface corrosion and paint loss to the metal frame, particularly around the joints (photo 1). The plastic spool and handle show scuffing and dirt accumulation. The folding hand truck displays scuffs and scratches across the metal frame and plastic fittings (photo 1). The tyres show surface wear and soiling consistent with use. The functionality of the telescoping handle and folding mechanism has not been tested but appears intact.
