Sold for: £6
An assortment of four electric table lamps presented as two distinct pairs, featuring brass and bronze effect finishes. The first pair consists of two fluted column lamps with circular stepped bases and cream fabric shades; one shade is a drum style while the other features a slight taper. The second pair comprises two neoclassical style lamps with slim stems mounted on ornate cast metal bases with scrolled feet and relief decoration. Each lamp is fitted with a brown plastic-coated cord and a British Standard 3-pin plug. A small white label is visible on the interior of one fabric shade, though the text is not clearly legible. One plug on the neoclassical pair features a red safety warning label attached to the pins. These items are sold for decorative purposes and require professional electrical inspection or PAT testing before use.
Condition report:
The metal finishes on all four lamps show surface wear, minor tarnishing, and areas of oxidation consistent with age (photos 1 and 3). The cream fabric shades on the fluted pair appear intact but show some light surface dust and may require cleaning (photo 1). The socket assembly on one of the neoclassical lamps appears slightly misaligned (photo 2). One plug is missing the red safety sleeve found on its counterpart (photo 2). All cords and plugs show minor surface scuffing.
