A collection of enamel and metal lapel pins and badges featuring various UK-based charity and commemorative themes. The group comprises a wide assortment of designs including multiple red poppies, Marie Curie bear and daffodil pins, a British Red Cross rose pin, and Macmillan Cancer Support examples. Notable pieces include a large rectangular pin reading ARMED FORCES DAY PLYMOUTH 2015, a circular FRIENDS OF PLYMOUTH AIRPORT badge, and a WRVS bar pin. Character pins include Dennis the Menace and Gnasher from The Beano. Several service badges are present, featuring text such as 10 YEARS and 15 YEARS. Markings include a pink ribbon pin with CANCER RESEARCH UK, a poppy pin with 2012, and a green Macmillan pin reading WE ARE MACMILLAN CANCER SUPPORT. The pins are constructed from various base metals with enamel finishes, secured by a variety of silver, gold, and yellow-toned clutch and butterfly fasteners.

Condition report:

The collection appears to be in good used condition with the enamel finishes remaining largely intact across the group. Minor surface scratches and pinhead-sized losses to the enamel are visible on several pieces, consistent with handling. All visible pins retain their metal or plastic clutch fasteners on the reverse, as shown on the green mounting board (photo 2). One fastener is a bright yellow plastic clutch, while the remainder are metal butterfly and squeeze-release styles in gold and silver tones.
