A trio of boxed replacement styli for phonograph cartridges, including examples by Shure. The first item is a Shure N75-6 stereo dynetic stylus, housed in a black and white cardboard box featuring the Shure logo and a teal side panel printed with The Standard of Quality. The box is printed with the model number N75-6 and the text High Trackability Stereo Dynetic .0006 Inch Stylus. The second item is a Shure N75HE-T2 stylus, identified by the printed model number on the side of the white and black cardboard box. The third item is an aftermarket replacement stylus for a Shure N75-6, presented in a clear plastic case with a blue and white paper label. This label features a stylized letter b logo and includes the number 131370 and Quality Stylus Replacement. A secondary white adhesive label on the side of the plastic case is printed with Dual D325 Shure N75-6.
Condition report:
The items are all housed in distressed original packaging. The Shure N75-6 box shows heavy wear, creasing, and tearing to the corners and opening flaps (photo 1). The Shure N75HE-T2 box is significantly damaged, featuring a large irregular circular hole or cutout on the front face and crushed edges (photo 1). The plastic case for the generic stylus shows yellowing to the labels and adhesive residue (photo 1). The physical condition of the delicate stylus cantilevers and diamond tips cannot be verified through the packaging and are sold as seen and untested.
