This lot comprises a peripheral video game controller and software for the Sony PlayStation 2 console. The set includes a wired guitar controller, a detachable black textile shoulder strap, and a Guitar Hero game disc housed in a blue plastic case. The controller is constructed from black and white molded plastic in a double-cutaway body shape, featuring five coloured fret buttons, a two-way strum bar, and a whammy bar. The pickguard area is white with black graphic decals including a skull and crossbones and flame motifs. Several adhesive stickers are present on the body, including a black and white Guitar Hero logo, two rectangular labels with a flame icon reading redoctane, and a sticker reading HARMONIX. The wired connection terminates in a standard PlayStation 2 plug, which features a molded redoctane logo and a CE mark. The game case features printed artwork with the titles Guitar Hero and PlayStation 2, alongside the redoctane manufacturer logo.
Condition report:
The controller body shows significant play wear with visible surface scratches and scuffing to the black plastic housing. The white pickguard exhibits yellowing and heavy wear to the decorative decals, including peeling and tearing to the flame graphic at the top. The strum bar and coloured fret buttons show surface grime and wear consistent with regular use. The textile strap is intact but shows minor fraying at the edges. The software case shows general shelf wear and surface scuffing to the plastic sleeve; the game disc is contained within and was not removed for inspection.
