A collection of ceramic and porcelain elephant figurines in various sizes, glazes, and decorative styles. The assortment includes two large naturalistic brown-glazed elephants with trunks raised, multiple pieces featuring hand-painted red and blue Chinoiserie floral patterns, and several white porcelain examples. Notable pieces include an elephant with gilded ears and tusks, one with an ornate blue and gold-painted caparison, and a stylised blue and white modernist figure. The group also features multiple smaller white porcelain calves, including one with a polychrome ball. Various decorative techniques are utilised across the collection, including polychrome floral sprays, geometric patterns, and naturalistic stoneware glazes. While several pieces bear visible marks to the undersides, including a hand-painted floral spray and various stamped monograms, no manufacturer names are clearly legible. One figurine bears a sticker to the underside reading MADE IN CHINA.

Condition report:

The collection appears to be in good decorative condition overall. The trunks and tusks on the larger figurines, including the two brown-glazed examples, appear intact and free from visible breaks (photo 1). The hand-painted decoration and gilding show no significant signs of wear or loss in the images provided. A small grey calf figurine is present alongside a larger floral example (photo 3). Some minor surface marks and dust are visible consistent with display, but no major chips, cracks, or professional repairs are evident from the photographs.
