Sold for: £3
A Mid Century Modern style two tier folding serving trolley. The unit features a continuous tubular chrome-plated steel frame designed in a folding X-frame configuration for compact storage. The two rectangular trays are finished with a dark walnut-style wood effect laminate, each secured within a ribbed metal edging. The trolley is mounted on four black swivel casters. The underside of the trays and the tubular frame bear no visible manufacturer marks, signatures, or labels. The construction utilizes a mechanical pivot system that allows the trays to remain horizontal or fold vertically alongside the frame.
Condition report:
The chrome-plated frame exhibits widespread surface pitting and oxidation, most notably on the lower horizontal bars and vertical supports (photo 1). The wood-effect laminate surfaces show minor surface scuffing and ingrained grime consistent with age (photo 2). The underside of the top tray displays several areas of staining and discoloration to the backing material (photo 3). All four casters are present, though the chrome hoods show signs of pitting (photo 1).
