A collection of assorted garden hand tools and maintenance equipment alongside an aluminium folding step ladder. The ladder is constructed from aluminium with three rungs leading to a top platform and features black plastic or rubber feet; a manufacturer’s label is present on the side rail, though the text is not legible. The assortment of tools includes a large soft-bristle broom with a green synthetic head and a black handle bearing a yellow adhesive label reading ‘STANLEY’ in capital letters. A second tool handle in black also features a yellow ‘STANLEY’ label. The lot further comprises a garden shovel with a green metal shaft and a black D-handle, bearing a pink and white adhesive label reading ‘Spear & Jackson’ and ‘Cattell’. Also included are a pair of long-handled loppers with silver-tone metal arms and red plastic grips, a pair of wooden-handled hedge shears with metal blades, a smaller handheld brush with a blue plastic base, a long wooden pole, and a thin blue pole.
Condition report:
The items are in used condition with typical signs of utility and age. The wooden handles show weathering and darkening throughout (photo 1). The metal components on the garden tools and the loppers show surface wear, scuffing to the plastic grips, and minor oxidation on the blades (photo 1). The aluminium ladder shows general surface marks and scratches consistent with use (photo 2). All items are sold as untested for functional working order.
