A collection of three abstract monotypes on paper by Angela Mellor. The suite comprises a long horizontal composition, a vertical composition within a rounded rectangular form, and a smaller work featuring a uniform green stippled texture. The pieces are executed in a palette of blues, greens, and oranges, displaying atmospheric dappled washes and textured applications of pigment. The horizontal work is signed in graphite along the lower right edge ‘Angela Mellor’ and dated ‘2007’. The vertical blue and orange composition is also signed in graphite to the right edge ‘Angela Mellor’. Each work is presented in a professional frame with a card mount; frames include light natural wood, dark grey wood, and black painted finishes. No manufacturer labels or certificates are present with the items.
Condition report:
The three works appear in good condition with no visible tears, foxing, or staining to the paper surfaces. The frames are structurally sound with minor surface wear consistent with handling. The glass shows surface reflections but appears intact. A small white inventory label is visible on the bottom edge of one frame (photo 3).
