Start price: £6

Estimated price: £6 - £20

Buyer's Premium: 20%

A collection of costume jewellery consisting primarily of stud and clip-on earrings, alongside a single safety-pin style brooch. The assortment features a variety of decorative styles from the mid-to-late 20th century. Notable pieces include a pair of triangular earrings decorated with cloisonné style enamel in blue, red, and white floral motifs, as well as geometric studs in red and blue enamel. The collection incorporates various materials including faux pearls in white and cream tones, glass cabochons in pink and amber hues, and clear faceted rhinestones. The metal components are finished in gold-tone and silver-tone plating. Several pieces feature textured metal reverses with standard butterfly or clip fastenings. A circular gold-tone earring near the top centre bears an embossed mark, though the characters are not legible as a name.

Condition report:

The lot is an unsorted collection containing a high proportion of single earrings without visible matches. Visible oxidation and tarnishing are present on the metal ear posts and clip mechanisms across multiple items. Verdigris is visible on the surfaces of several gold-tone pieces. The faux pearls exhibit minor surface scuffing (main photo). Some earrings are missing their original butterfly backings.
